Micheal Scott Bushnell Jr(19 yrs old) Is the father of My Son. I was Pregnant at the time of his Death. When i heard what had happen, I was devastated!..Never in a million years i would have thought My boyfriend, My Baby daddy, Would not be here today. To help me raise our son. It get rough knowing that one day my son will ask me where is his father. the only gift My son will have to give his Father on Fathers Day is a Flower on his Grave. I love Michael and i miss him dearly! He Definatly is irreplaceable!!!!

the is 100% true how do i know maybe because i was there that morning that was the morning my life came crumbling down in front of my eyes and i coulkdnt do a damn thing about it not only did i loose a sister but i lost my whole family and a part of my self as well i was one of those people that thought o yeaa that couldnt happen to me well i was dead wrong my brother is doin alot better now though but as for the rest of my family well god help us all

Newsflash – here are the FACTS that a happy yellow journalism reporter didnt care to obtain before printing the article. Rodney was NOT an ex-husband, he still lived in the house when his wife wasnt on-gain/off-again and taking her meds, the father-in-law was not an EX and the shooting (as it turns out) was not in self-defense. This case is going to the grand jury for a murder charge.

What a crock of crap…..I have seen & heard this woman suzanne white threaten to kill my best friend in her anger….they are letting this nut (Suzanne White who shot Mark Lockwood…Denham Springs , La.)off the hook.
She too is known as a huge drug user & suspected dealer
She is a drug head & now we should fear that she might kill my friend too.
To think the police would let this nut off the hook is absurd!!!!
Please keep this email incase she does harm someone else, again.

There was no legal duty involved to leave the premises. If you have a legal duty, you do not have options. You claim the shooter had the option of a legal duty to exercise. Sadly, you are wrong. He was warned multiple times, he broke a window to get into the property, and, sadly, was shot to death. I have met the guy before, he was very nice and was likable… but his death has stopped you from thinking objectively.

you do not have the right to use deadly force in order to protect your property. There was a back door on the property, and this man had the legal duty to escape the premises, and since he did not exercise this option, he should not be able to claim self defense.

Akdov, I am part of the editing team of this site. You asked a good question. Where are the ’self-defense’ or ‘justifiable homicide’ categories? You know what, we looked at all the gun deaths we collected, none fits into these two categories. Most gun deaths died from people the victims know, in argument and in murder-suicide, or nightclub fight. The NRA’s myth of gun used for defense does not exist. If you know any gun deaths that are so-called “self-defense”, please post it through comment to this site, and we will be happy to post it here.
