Husband shot dead by wife
WALTERS, Okla. – Authorities say a Cotton County woman has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of her husband at their home near Walters.
Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Jessica Brown says Iona Allen called the sheriff’s office about 2:20 p.m. Monday and said she shot her 74-year-old husband, Harry Williams, outside the residence.
The 66-year-old Allen was arrested on a murder complaint after deputies found Williams’ body in the back yard with a shotgun wound to the face and shoulder.
Brown says the sheriff’s department had responded to the home in the past for domestic arguments, but the incidents weren’t physical. More on KSWO
