Berkeley police investigate shooting death
An 18-year-old man was found shot Monday night in the backyard of a home in the 1300 block of 67th Street.
Police said they responded to numerous 911 calls of shots fired in the area at 11:29 p.m. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Police have not released the identity of the man, nor could they say what he was doing in the yard or why he was shot. More on Inside Bay area

WEST PALM BEACH, FL, — Monday afternoon Samuel Hall of Lake Worth was shot and killed while he sat in a rental car in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant on Military Trail.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jose Diaz and charged him with 1st degree murder and robbery with a firearm.
Witnesses told PBSO investigators that Diaz was spotted running from the rented Ford Taurus in the Popeye’s parking lot in Suburban West Palm Beach.
The arrest report says that Diaz and friend Jorge Flores were walking through Popeye’s parking lot when Diaz spotted Hall sitting in a car.
PBSO says Diaz attempted to rob Hall. Witnesses report hearing an argument followed by a shot being fired according to investigators. More on WPtv.com
