Argument over girl led to shooting death of 16-year-old
BELLEVILLE, Ill. — Authorities say two 18-year-olds have been charged in the drive-by shooting of a 16-year-old Cahokia boy.
DeShawn Bell of Centreville and Travon Watson of Cahokia were each charged Friday with first-degree murder in the death of Kenneth Allen.
O’Fallon Police Capt. Eric VanHook says an argument over a girl may have led to the shooting on Tuesday night.
It’s not clear if the teens have attorneys, and neither has a listed telephone number in Centreville or Cahokia. They’re being held in the St. Clair County Jail in lieu of $1 million bail. More on WQAD.com
